Beberapa syarikat automotif seperti Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) dan TC Subaru telah memperkenalkan kempen ‘test drive at home’ sebagai cara untuk mengatasi ‘new normal’ Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Bersyarat (PKPB).

Kini, Sime Darby Auto Hyundai (SDAH) telah melancarkan inisiatif mereka sendiri yang diberi nama ‘Test Drive to You’. Perkhidmatan ini ditawarkan oleh enam cawangan jualan SDAH di Semenanjung Malaysia, iaitu Ara Damansara, Jalan Klang Lama, Bangsar, Prai, Ipoh dan Skudai.

Bukan itu sahaja, syarikat itu juga mendapat tawaran menarik termasuk potongan harga sehingga RM13,000 untuk model Hyundai terpilih.

Going for a test drive has never been easier and more convenient with Sime Darby Auto Hyundai’s (SDAH) ‘Test Drive to You’ campaign. With this campaign, SDAH offers customers a chance to test drive the car of their dreams, from their doorstep.

This campaign features a contactless test drive concept, ensures social distancing between the sales consultant and the customer, as well as good sanitisation practices.

“The ‘Test Drive to You’ campaign is an exclusive personalised service by Sime Darby Auto Hyundai (SDAH) to reach out to our customers wherever they are. We have a total of six SDAH sales outlets in Peninsular Malaysia which are offering this service. Interested parties just need to register their interest and SDAH will arrange for a personalised test drive session from the customer’s home,” said Mr Low Yuan Lung, Managing Director of Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors.

In carrying out this personalised service, SDAH is committed to customers’ safety and has implemented the following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). This includes:

• Sanitisation of test drive vehicles before and after every test drive session
• The sales consultant and customer will only be allowed in the car when they are wearing masks
• Customers are required to sanitise their hands with the hand sanitiser provided
• Thermal scanning will be done prior to the test drive. If their body temperature exceeds 37.5ᵒC, the customer will not be allowed to proceed with the test drive
• The sales consultant will be seated in the rear seat throughout the test drive session
