Pelajaran Sejarah Mercedes-Benz Black Series

Again and again Mercedes-AMG develops especially exclusive vehicles for enthusiasts under the label Black Series High-Performance Cars. It all started in 2006 with the SLK 55 AMG Black Series. The AMG 5.5-litre V8 engine in the puristic two-seater entices drivers with its maximum output of 400 hp and 520 newton-metre torque.
In 2007 it was followed by the CLK 63 AMG Black Series. The brawny coupé was based on the Official F1™ Safety Carfrom AMG at the time and puts thoroughbred motor-racing technology on the road: the striking front apron with large cooling air openings, widened wings, the diffusor-look rear apron and the carbon-fibre spoiler lip visually document the sporty ambitions in advance. The performance-enhanced AMG 6.3-litre V8 engine with 507 hp and 630 newton-metre torque takes care of the power.
The coupé accelerated from rest to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and reached an electronically limited top speed of 300 km/h. Newly designed axles, a lavishly developed coil-over sports suspension, 19-inch forged wheels, the newly developed steering system and the bigger AMG high-performance braking system in compound technology guaranteed driving dynamics of the highest order.
2008 saw the debut of the most powerful series model to date from Mercedes-AMG: the SL 65 AMG Black Series: the two-seater was extreme in every respect: The 6.0-litre V12 biturbo engine thrills with its 670 hp output and electronically limited 1000 newton-metre torque, already available from 2200 rpm. Sprinting from rest to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, its top speed is governed at 320 km/h.
The spectacular look with lavish wing flares, large air inlets and outlets, the fixed aero-foil, the fixed coupé roof with an integrated roll bar, makes it clear in no uncertain terms what this is all about: maximum Driving Performance. The completely new coil-over suspension and the wider track front and rear also play a major part here. The roof, bonnet, boot lid, front wings and rear apron are made of light carbon fibre. In total the Black Series weights 250 kilograms less than the SL 65 AMG.
With an equally spectacular design, current technology transfer from motorsport and vehicle dynamics at the highest level, four years later, as of 2012, the C 63 AMG Coupé Black embodied the AMG brand pledge Driving Performance at its finest. With a maximum power output of 517 hp and 620 newton metres of maximum torque, the high-performance vehicle is the most powerful C-Class model to date.
Acceleration from zero to 100 km/h took 4.2 seconds. The adjustable coil-over suspension was also a contributing factor in the exclusive driving pleasure, as was the high-performance compound braking system and the functional standard equipment level. To enhance the driving dynamics even further, the optional Track Package with competition tyres and active cooling of the rear differential gear, the AMG Aerodynamics Package with flics, front splitter and adjustable carbon rear aero-foil were available.
Inspired by the Customer Sport SLS AMG GT3 racing car, the SLS AMG Black Series thrilled in 2013 with its breathtaking design, outstanding vehicle dynamics and systematic lightweight construction. The 6.3-litre V8 engine delivers 631 hp at 7400 rpm ‑ 60 hp more than the SLS AMG.
Acceleration from zero to 100 km/h is completed in 3.6 seconds, the top speed reached at 315 km/h.
Maximum vehicle dynamics come courtesy of the newly developed AMG RIDE CONTROL Performance suspension, the high-performance ceramic compound brake system, the locking differential with electric control, the weight-optimised light-alloy wheels and newly developed sports tyres. On request the Aerodynamics Package is available for selection in order to enhance the vehicle dynamics even further.
