Volvo Cars Harus Prihatin Dengan Pelanggan Yang Terjejas Akibat Lockdown

Volvo Cars, sedikit kelewatan selepas tarikh servis tidak harus diambil kira oleh pengedar anda.

Ini adalah isu yang telah dilaporkan oleh beberapa pemilik kereta tahun lalu dan daripada pelbagai jenama automotif, kebanyakannya jenama kereta premium yang mahu mengelakkan sebanyak mungkin tuntutan waranti dan daripada pengeluar kereta yang menawarkan waranti kilang 2 tahun sahaja dan baki 3 tahun (jumlah lima tahun) waranti datang daripada pembekal insurans.

Ini bermakna, apabila tuntutan alat ganti datang yang sudah lepas jaminan kilang, mereka cuba menghadkan tuntutan daripada pembekal insurans. Kenapa? Adakah penyedia insurans yang menyukarkan tuntutan atau penasihat servis yang malas buat paperwork yang menyusahkan untuk tuntutan diproses?

Walau apa pun, pelanggan WAJIB dijaga semasa tempoh waranti (waranti kilang atau waranti insurans) kerana mereka telah membayar untuk servis dan jaminan alat ganti ini dalam harga pembelian awal kereta.

Hi all, just want to write my recent experienced I encountered with Federal Auto Penang. I am driving 2018 Volvo XC60 T5 and few days ago my ABS sensor gone crazy. Anyway, I went to Federal Auto Penang to check and found out that sensor ABS front wheel faulty and need to change.

Basically since my car is just 3 years and I have 5 year warranty or 120,000km, I thought I will get my warranty claim but oh boy I was wrong. They told me that on 2019, I was late to service my car for a month (though I don’t agree) and because of that, I have breached my warranty contract and I no longer entitled warranty and need to pay in full.

I was very disappointed with Federal Auto Penang because not only they don’t help, they just keeps on telling me you have breached contract and you have to pay and when I demand to talk to warranty department, they just mentioned, sorry, they will not talk to you. if you like, you can just talk to Volvo Cars Malaysia.

I am disappointed because.

1. I was not aware that late for service will cause me my warranty entitlement

2. federal auto is not helpful at all to help their customer.

3. feel like Volvo Malaysia is reluctantly giving 5 years warranty and will try all ways to make us loose our warranty.

Anyway, I have to pay for the repair of the sensor coz I have to travel down to KL and it cost me RM950 and they mentioned that if I want to reinstate my warranty, I need to pay RM650.

I have write to Volvo Malaysia and I am waiting for their feedback and reply. I am writing this to make sure that you all be aware and make sure you read the fine print of the warranty and make sure you do your service on time or else your warranty will be void like mine.
